My Tenere is lowered front and rear about 25mil , instead of cutting and welding the side stand I ground away metal from the fully down stop which allows the side stand to swing forward more. My centre stand is used for maintenance and I just run my rear wheel onto a 40mil board before lifting it on to the centre stand, easy and I am nearer to70 than 60 years old.
