Hi Daz - welcome on board mate.

If you fit lowering links, the centre stand will still work, the only difference is the wheel/tyre will be further from the ground. However, there is a catch...

What you will find is that lifting the bike onto the centre stand will be much harder than it would be with standard links. This is due to the rear wheel not sitting as close to the ground relative to the feet of the stand when at the shocks full extension, and you have to overcome that difference with brute force. (I've got 15mm raising links on mine and its conversely much easier than standard to pull onto the stand.)
