The front part of all Tucano Mitts are made of a stiffening material which can be bent into shape around your guards.
The pic that Steve posted shows it quite flat, but it can be moulded.
~On those R323 versions, you can see the holes for the bar end screws.
I just made mine by punching a hole through using a punch and eyelet.
Clearly, both R319 or R323 are winners.
