Kenya...
Just come back from the most fantastic bike safari in Kenya. I would highly recommend it. What made this trip unique from others I have done is the following
1)
The riding is just right, off road on small XR250s not to technical and you get some real good natural encounters with wildlife.
2)
A great mix of riding , interacting with the locals and some pucker Safari action
3)
The Support truck is really a safari Land cruiser. So on a few occasions after a days riding we changed into shorts and t-shirts and went out on Safari
4)
My wife and another riders wife were in the Land Cruiser and had the most fantastic time. The driver and crew were great tour guides and the most friendly funny people you could meet. This makes this the perfect way to do some off roading in Africa with the misuses if she is not a rider.
Our route was the Southern Kenya Tour (Masai trail) and we did this in 9 days, but Fred does all sorts and can customise if required. So bottom line if you are looking an African adventure, want some winter sun and want to take the wife.. look no further .. His web site is -
