I have some cheap muffs that i can't recommend. They are not stiff enough so could'nt get my hands in again if i took them out at highway speeds because the muf started flapping. Sorted it with some copper wire stitched around the opening.

Only picture from a rather said moment with a broken chain . http://majland.org/blog/?p=220

With regard to heated grips i've been trough a few pairs sets of Saito from louis.de - The controls are crap but the grips themself are ok. After i broke the first pair i but some heat-shrink tube around as reinforcement on the new ones. Had them on both the XT600Z (with the crap controller) and the XTZ750 with an fully adjustable from enduro stamtisch http://www.enduro-stammtisch.de/

At some time i also bought a set of Hein Gerickes housebrand of grips with only off/low/high. I fitted the controller to the pot. meter of the adjustable died of corrosion from bad weather.

The Hein Gericke grips are now fitted to my current ride but with a controller from mccoi.de His pot.meter i supposed to be fully waterproof
