You'd be surprised how things can very quickly get out of control with the likes of vehicle, petrol, gas, electric or flammable materials fires. Fiddling about with a small-sized domestic fire extinguisher is only going to endanger someone's life � is it worth it?

Small ABC powder extinguishers sold for cars aren't much use with anything more than a slight smouldering; they almost always run out before becoming effective, particularly on fuel fires. If you have one, the fact that it�s there provides an irresistible temptation to be the hero and �have a go� - drawing you, and others closer to danger.

On a lighter note... Check out this Russian guy - sets light to his own bike to show off how he can put it out with his fire extinguisher, only the extinguisher doesn't work (which is more common than you'd imagine). What makes it even more hilarious is he actually tries blowing on the flames to try and put the fire out!
