If you have a "friendly" car window tinter, you might be able to get it tinted for not much money. The beauty of this would be that the tint is on the inside of the screen so will not be affected by cleaning off dead bugs etc. A good tinter will give you a 100% bubble free finish on the screen.

With the vinyl option the front of the screen would be the "finished" surface and would need gentle (ish) cleaning to maintain a good look.

All still cheaper than a 80 odd quid screen though eh?
