CaptMoto is on a distinguished road
Hi there Adam, I appreciate your work and product, however in our faq (frequently asked questions) we have a basic polite rule that means that trade people must ask the administrator permission before posting / canvassing for goods as you can see below

I'm a trader, what is the policy on advertising?
Advertising of products on this forum is free of charge for all suppliers and distributors of bike products related to the Yamaha XT660X, XT660R and XT660Z Tenere, however there are conditions to be met as follows:

First and foremost, anyone wishing to advertize their products on this forum must contact the owner administrator (CaptMoto) before hand.

Basic requirements for retailers wishing to advertise their products or services on our forum is to provide a discount (percentage of which to be agreed privately with the Admin) to all our forum members.

Thank you.

My main concern is that the item you are working on and offering people to test is not like a set of exhaust that even if one breaks and falls off, it's not likely to cause an accident to the rider.

However a mechanical part such as the chain tensioner on the swingarm as nice as it looks and I do admit it looks great, should be BS approved before been given out to people to test, beacuse my worry is that in case of failure, who will be responsible for the liability of a back wheel becoming loose or uneven at speed? If such appliance is not tested by approved centres that can guarantee it'll work under load and stress, I wouldn't want the authorities to come here and say, someone got injured because of a freebe that they've obtained through your website / forum. Next thing I know the old bill is at my door reading me my rights, been there done that, I don't want to see them again.

I personally would not like to take that risk, or offer members of this forum to undertake testing of something which is not been BS approved. Please clarify your position in respect to this matter, thanks

Furthermore as this post is not related to the section in which it was posted, as this is the Newbies Reception where new members introduce themselves to the others, I am having to move it to a more appropriate section and leave a redirecting link for a couple of days awaiting to see if you have got your product certified otherwise I'm afraid it's bound to Room 101

Many thanks
