Ah, but Mr YZF has the proper DNA top, which should fit as snug as a bug in a rug straight out of the box!

Something ain't right if the DNA stage 1 filter is rattling with the genuine stage 2 cover?

Is the seal still in place on the underside of the cover? Is the cover on the the wrong way up? (If that's possible to do?) Is it screwed down fully? Maybe a stray wire or cable is trapped between the cover and the airbox? Have you been supplied with the right DNA filter?
