The idea behind a wave rotor is to stop warping...
A disc has no ends, So there is no where for it to exspand in
to as it heats up , so it warps... the cut away sections on the
out side of the wave rotor give spaces for it to exspand
into.... Basicly gives the outside of the disc where the most metal
& most exspantion happens lots of ends...
thats the idea behind them... how well it works is anyones guess..
