No no no matey, it was all in tact, spindle, roller and retaining nut. I had it welded before as it had a crack in the main bracket which bonds it to the frame. Chain is good and it still rides ok somehow. When parked the chain touches the near side pipe but the slack goes when riding. I'm hoping to either get something better made up or do away with a link in the chain. Will see what they say at woking Yam, they are a great bunch. ;0) I must say though for something that takes a lot of pressure it sure is a thin crappy arrangement. Check that German guys pics that Joe has provided. Same issue, but with a low miles bike. Will let you know how I get on of course.
