My annual holidays entail a fair bit of sun, a fair amount of beer and definitely a motorcycle.
This year was no different; except for the motorcycle!
The 'town' we were staying in only had 2 motorcycle hire shops, and probably only 2 decent motorcycles. Unfortunately for me someone else was already riding those 2 motorcycles around the island somewhere.
So I got offered this.. ?
Which is probably fine if I was 13 and had no Mrs on the back!
2 days of this 'beast of a 125' limping up hills, sorry slight inclines, with steering bearings that were so loose they played a tune..
(I dare not go any speed, wobbly as a fish..)
... enough is enough, back to the shop!
So I went back to the bike shop and got one of these...
KTM orange at least! This 300cc BadBwoy was the best in town!
If only I had known that "buenas noches" actually translates to "Good notches!" or, Watch out, steering bearings, Oh my days.
Fine if you want to go straight.. But Greek roads, straight, I think not!
There were a few other options....
This one was heavily guarded..
There's always the 1 Horse Power option..
Here's me being led up the hill, I've never ridden a horse before.
After an hour I was ready to get off. 2 hours in the saddle and I knew it.
I did find one of these..

But the keys were nowhere to be found
This one wouldn't start for some reason.
Hey, and big respect goes out to my photographer wife

She's the less pink one!
There's obviously a ton of holiday photos, but I've just uploaded the ones bike related.
Kefalonia is beautiful and I could ride about it for many more than 2 weeks. Just maybe not on a scooter..
QUESTION:
Why did I see a few XTX on the island but no XTR or XTZ?
I'd've thought the XTX was the least suitable to the terrain out of the 3?
