well, well, welll, what a wombat am I!!!!!
when i reassembled the bike I incorrectly fitted the lean angle switch!
the bike thought i was doing a 90 degree stoppie on the front brake!

lean angle switch DOES say UP on the side that has to face upwards!
I assumed the UP had to have the writing facing upright, not on the upper side of the switch...

we all learn by mistakes. at least now I know all my wirings in order.
thanks for the comments guys, as usual many heads can help solve a problem.
