I have rant63 and tkc' they are both great tyresthe tkc can wear quick'the t 63 is a tyre fur more bigger heavier dual sport' but fur all the speed anweight of the xtr' mismatchin them would be absolutley fine' remeber tbe xt is no superbike' an not mega hp' so yer answer id say''yes' mix an match''id do it' but I know a lot o guys don't like this'''the tkc handles great as the michelin as well fur grip id say the michelin wid be better grip' bt really not noticable as its not a superbike'''''enjoy
