yep, i also thought the response was funny considering the hundreds of mods listed on this forum which are not in line with manufacturers recommendations..

anyway, i have a 150 rear tyre fitted on my bike. i have a 07 xtx and the tyre is Michelin Pilot Road 3. no issues so far, after 10,000km.

I fitted it because i thought it may improve the ride, but I was disappointed. I wouldnt do it again. It may help slightly when cornering, but when you ride higher speeds it feels a bit shaky. not as stable as when you have the 160.

So i'm looking forward to get a 160 back on. I cannot recommend the 150, but it's possible.
