I ride Strata fairly regular, and was one of my reasons to get a larger off road style bike , it does become tiresome riding an XR400 from Cardiff all the way up there and home again. I see it as you need something that is fairly sturdy to avoid water ingress and the dna 3 just didnt fill me with confidence.... I will not knock its ability... but its just not for me.
Riding stuff like Strata doesnt always mean the height of water you made be riding through ,places like this mean a bike can be easily leant over to water level though.
With all this talk of water mind............. please tell me as this bike being my first F.I offroad bike, what would be the proceedure to do if the water did get into it.I mean a carb bike is easy drain carb, wouldnt have a clue what to do with F.I ???
