Spot on! I have a F650GS (don't hate me!) and the airbox is higher than the seat with a snorkel that reaches up behind the headstock. You need to be at headlight level in water to ingest some into the engine while riding. Although, all bikes are about the same height of the ground on their side in a river
Anyway, I learned.... which is why I also have a XTR which I enjoy more as the BM'er is spoiled by having a 600 mile fuel range (ie holds 39 litres) and is like riding a fat overweight schwein.
