Mine was lowered (for previous owner at Yamaha dealer )

Installed lowering links (-4cm) , lowered front forks... but also ...

a piece of about 2cm had been cut out of the side stand (and then rewelded)!! If you lower the bike, the side stand is too high so the bike has the tendancy to tip over when parked (a bit of strong wind could do it)

So if you lower it, take a moment to look at the side stand as well

I'm suffering from a "short inner leg size" as well, been driving on a lowered Tenere for 2 years now, seems to handle well imho
