Hi there, i was after a bit of advice regarding the 2008 XT660Z. from initial reading i can see there were a few build quality issues with these.

what i am really after is are they different from the later models? and if so what has changed.

i have a chance to a very low mileage 2008 model in the local area or there is a 2010 model further away and for a bit more money with a few more miles on the clock.

which would be the best to get? and will i notice a difference between the two or have problems with the 2008 model.

i will be using the bike every day to commute and then on weekends for some fun.
