Quite! We all have our weaknesses when it comes to fettling, fiddling and farkling though.

Crashbars IMVHO seem to be an unnecessary extra lump of weight to lug around and certain designs/types can make access to oil filter, timing inspection covers, petrol tank covers/bolts, radiator cap and other regular service items more time-consuming to get at. However, some people swear by 'em!
