+1. I rode down to Llanthony nr Abergavenny from Huddersfield in the rain on Saturday. Nice warm hands on low setting and DRY. Heated jacket on medium and so warm my visor kept misting up!
I use Tucano Urbano muffs, cover all of the grips and switches and go up the stem of the wing mirrors. Take some getting use to but once you have used them for a while you won't look back.
.......and YES I use very thin gloves to allow the Symtec heated grips to get the heat through, no use using thick gloves, not that I need them!
