When my son had the XTR, we fitted 130 conti escape but noticed it worn a bit flat with sharper corners, so next time I fitted a 140 conti escape it has worn a bit rounder on the corners. I say when my son had the XTR becaue his riding is a bit wilder than me, 'wheelies galore'.

The only problem but nothing to do with the tyre is somebody cut it with a blade when parked at an 'Ace cafe' trip, so now I have the bike I will change it soon but with say 4mm left it still corners well.

Although a bit off topic, my son didn't often check tyre pressure so the front ran low alot giving uneven wear.

I'm not sure what to fit next time depending of the type of riding I do but I'm sure it will be 140 again.
