NO the extra fuel range is not worth the prise of a Gillimoto tank...
But a rotopax dosn't stop you denting the steel Yamaha tank...
I done that the 2nd week I had the XT doing a river crossing....
I'm lucky the rock smashed the plastic wing & put the dent under where the wing goes... so can't be seen with a new wing...
The Gillimoto tank also protects the radiator better
I was getting over 300km out of the Yamaha tank...
