What camera/lens/exposure did you use?
I was testing the new Canon EOS 650D with my Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens,

The settings were: ISO 100, F5.6 - Shutter speed: 1/500s, I deliberately underexposed the shot to avoid the moon light reflection hiding the details such as craters and "lakes"
