I had a 93. It had 40,000 miles on it when I sold it and I never had a problem with it in the 20,000 miles that I owned it. It was so long ago that I can't really make much comparison but I do know that the new one's taller (or I've shrunk a lot in 10 years). I reckon the seat was more comfortable too as I had to make a regular 300 mile return trip on mainly motorways and I can't remember moaning about the seat.
