I have TKC80 tyres, rear 150/70-17 and front 120/70-17. They are much better in mud and sand as Avon Distanzia (160/60 and 120/70). XT660 is never like really enduro or motocross bike but atleast I can now drive in mud, I don't need push any more like with Avon.
Has anyone tried 180/55-17 rear tyre in XT660? I found one rumor that 180 should be fit. Is there really space for 180? I measured that gap between tyre and chain guard is 10mm, so at least the chain guard must be replaced. Chain and tyre gap is 15-16mm... Measurements have been done with 150 wide tyre. Model is XT660R with XT660X wheels.
