Ok, you've said it yourself, run low pressure, it does fix the problem, but you need to appreciate these are tyres designed for supermoto track days, hence the extra grip and there is also another factor, these will not last you more than 600 miles because their compound is very soft and will wear out pretty quick.

So to recap run your pressure max 28psi and you will loose all weave, however these are not designed to exceed speeds of 85mph therefore are not really suitable for road use on the XTX.

The rear one lasted me only 400 miles before it was shot, commuting in London's traffic. The front one lasted a lot longer.

I then switched to Avon Distanzia and lived happily ever after.
