Mate I was just thinking that depending on what type of dirt you are riding that you may also like to consider Pirelli MT60 (but not the corsa version).

The MT60 would be so much better than your current tyres on dirt and road, they work well on hard pack dirt (so depends on what sort of dirt you ride) and are great on road.

Aside from what tyres you chose just remember to take you time and build your confidence at your own pace, oh and just relax and let the bike move around a little.

Just a note on pace, to slow can be as bad as to fast, just find a pace you are comfortable with.
