Thanks for the quick responses, left it with the garage overnight, only to ring them up in the morning to have someone say that the negative wire connecting to the battery wasn't screwed in properly after I'd just fitted an auxiliary circuit doh! Feel like a class A muppet.

Am getting it back tomorrow, probably with some ridiculous labour charge alongside it, so will have it for a few days. But , as you say, will test the battery at intervals to see how the charge is holding up. Otherwise, back to Morocco!
