It was a short uphill track 1/2 a mile before Balmoral (N57 03 03.9 W3 13 52.0) running from the A93 to the A939. It shows on the Zumo as an Unpaved Road (and right it was!), shows on Google Maps as a UCR, but isn't shown on Google earth - odd!
Trail riding in Scotland is a little different to England, Fiddich would be a better person to ask for advice on this.
I have to agree with Keith, we rode back with two short stops, one for a pee, the other for fuel, that's not bad going for a thumper, and how many bikes would cover that distance with only one fuel stop?
There are lots of reasons not to buy a Tenere, but you could find the same for any bike. Not everyone has the funds or luxury, but if you want everything then you need to consider multiple bikes. I think the Tenere is a pretty well sorted all rounder.
