To Much Oil - Drain Off Tip
My late Dad (RIP 2003 top car mechanic) showed me this trick when I used to help him at his garage. I've read about this issue on here a few times and I've done it myself lol.
So you've topped up your oil or you've changed it and put to much in?, either way there's really no need to drain and re-fill or even worse get a mouthful of oil trying to siphon a bit off. There's 2 options depending what you have handy.
1st option:
Find an old oil bottle with one of those long plastic bendy tubes on the nozzle. Make sure it's clean and empty. Squeeze the bottle getting rid of most of the air before you place the nozzle into the oil in the frame, as you gently let go it will suck the oil up for you. Re-check oil until happy bunny appears. ;0)
2nd option:
If you've got an old empty plastic bottle with one of those spray nozzles which has the long tube going down inside the bottle. So make sure it's all clean and just pop the tube into the oil and spray back out into a container of your choice. Re-check oil until happy bunny appears. ;0)
Common sense note:
Obviously you need to make sure all your kit is clean and make sure there's no danger of anything falling into the frame coz the happy bunny will not appear but will in fact leave the country in fear of his life...
