Hello, no question is a dumb question.

There are only a few differences between the X and the R and these are as follows:

Front fork, front disc brake rotor, front brake caliper, front mudguard, front light cowling, tank cowlings, rear light cowling, rear swngarm and of course front and rear rims and tyres.
