Had an XTR for near 4 years and 40k miles and this is what i found the best feeling and im 6ft4 and 15st (with out kit)
I tried everything from proper motocross leg out stuff (still do it every now and then for the crack on a Tiger 1050!!!) to hanging off the bike so far the bike was near vertical and i was near on the ground (not hard to do at our height when you do it!!!)
Just be careful in the damp or wet conditions when you hold you body up right and go in and out of a corner, going in the front can feel as if its going to wash out so you will need to lean forward a bit to weight up the front and similar for the rear when exiting it will want to spin up (or as i call it brown trousers moment) so again shift weigh back a bit from normal.
