Try riding around some of the small lanes up in the Dales or Lakes in the 'vertical to the bike' position and you are likely to get your head knocked by cars on corners.
I personally 'roll' the bike underneath me and keep my body upright on small windy roads 'cos even at my height, your head will get precariously close to cars on corners.
Maybe it's my perception but going around slow corners lke this on the Ten' I feel more in control and can really shift from left corners to right very quickly and vice versa.
Just my way of doing it, we all have differing riding techniques. You have to find the one that suits you the best.
