Hi Billy,
We fitted 140 Hiedenau K60 scouts on both our bikes because we couldn't get the 130. No problems at all but the clearance between the tyre and swing arm was reduced - it caused no fouling though.
I think a possible advantage/disadvantage of going to a 140 is that it could be a heavier duty tyre as is the K60 140. That's good if you are loaded but you need to think about how the stiffer side walls will affect travel in sand etc when you need to reduce tyre pressure for a bigger foot print. Just one more idea, we were not impressed by TK80's at all, After 7000 miles of dirt and gravel roads and 18000 of mixed roads on this trip we found the best tyre for cost/performance/longevity was the Michelin T63 and mixed with a Pirelli MT21 front made a very good package for mixed dirt/gravel/tar roads.
The TK80's were poor in mud, the T63's much better - as good as you can get for a DOT tyre any way.
Cheers
Paul
