Understand your decision Russ. I'll watch with interest to see how your parts sell - I may have to eventually go down that same route. At least my consolation is that my bike is tax deductable and is now a complete write off.
Obviously high mileage bikes will eventually wear out but the issue that Yamaha should be aware of (if you don't mind) is that an important nut that cannot rotate free should become loose.
