Have a look at the blue moto at the right side. KTM triple clamps (from KTM 690 enduro) with a WP48 fork, brake setup and front wheel from a 950 super enduro. All those parts were around EUR 600-700 alltogether as far as I remember from what the owner told me. The triple clamps and the steering shaft were supplied by myself, btw. There is no big trouble in doing this kind of conversion. The only custom made thing you need is a new steering shaft fitting the KTM triple clamps and the Tenere headset bearing. Manufacturing such a part would be EUR 100.- over here. Also, you need to be careful about overall fork length when compressed. This varies for different WP forks. For the Tenere the WP fork should be a lengthy type. Otherwise there is not enough of clearance when using up all of the fork travel.
