Hi

i am going on a long trip on my Xt this year, i need luggage, i am a noob cos ive never had luggage besides a tailpack before!

so i was after just a big box at the back, you know the square kind that you see on adv bikes.

do those type of boxes fix to a tubular rack or what? or do they have mounting plates like a givi top case? i would rather have a tubular rack and have a removeable box that i can leave in my accomodation whilst i am away.

also any rack recommendations?

fyi i dont have a lot of money i cant spend like 500 for a metal mule box or anything, maybe couple hundred max for my luggage solution
