It should never be necessary to top up brake fluid. If the level is low that can mean a couple of things:
- there is a leak somewhere, in which case you have serious issues that are not going to be solved by toppping up. This is not the most likely cause.
- it was not properly filled up during the last brake fluid change.
- the brake pads are worn down. Put in new ones and the fluid level should be near the top again.

Changing coolant is not that hard to do yourself.
If you are having your service done by a dealer that is not used to working on your bike it is always goo dto tell them exactly what needs to be done. Normally your owners manual has an overview chart with the attention points for each service interval.
