On the Tenere I just don't get (notice) turbulance. I have a HG cross-bar bag that maybe helps (some seam to think it does). Or it could be that I just relax a little more these days and go a little slower. Could be the peak of the Shoe is lower/better shaped/suited than the Aria was, could be lots of things...

Harrogate to Portsmouth in 6 hours, shouldn't be a problem. 261 miles, average 60mph should take around 4 hours. I made Portsmouth to Carlisle is 5 1/2 hours on a Saturday morning.
Gulgo... Ive been reading over many many posts here about buffeting...an theres nuthin worse...im pondering on a TEN a jump fae ma XTR... but the wind turbilence is putting me off...i have had 4 varaderos,,an each one ave had that problem...the first one was crazy,,, i tried 4 different screens,,, an the only one that suited me best fur turbelence hittin ma chest rather than ma head shake,,,was to cut the std screen down to jist above the clocks...... soa know whit yer sayin... ma XTR is a great bike as I like naked bikes... an teh buffeting,,,well its fae the chest up...am used to the straight wind blast... ive read here o guiys only doing 80mph becayuse io the wind turbilence....onma xtr.. although its shakey...ye kin do a ton no bother... a think al stay wi the xtr...
