was the fault with the R/R due to the plugs being lose ?

or did some of them fail because water was getting into the top of them which caused the problem ?

I can't see how these plugs can be lose as they lock into place, the clip would only break if it was forced open rather then pulling the clip back that holds it in place.

if you do any work to your own bike while its under warranty the dealer could use this as a get out of jail free card
