interesting ..ive used progressive springs before .. and they were harsh at lower speeds .. ive read a few posts where people have fitted them and are happy ..i really am going off what ive done before on a different bike ..im not saying ive made the right choice
how is the low er speed riding with the hagons ??
i was just wondering about the spacers i guess ill have to wait

i read somwhere on here that the shock is not rebuildable but i am not sure on that point

its done 11000 miles .. it was ok mostly but was kicking back on sharper bumps .. on the road .. assuming it was possible ? re oiled and gassed for 100 quid with say a further 50/60 for a spring ..but in all honesty id still be guessing a bout the spring and still have minmum adjustment
i wanted more adjustment on it .. setting the rebound stops the harshness ..i think it was packing down .. ..not rebounding enough before the next hit .. ..it was deffo getting worse thats for sure
on the road the hagon is loads loads better ..and the preload is only set at around 30 percent so theres loads left for err loads
on price and road performance its looking real good

ive yet to try it off road .. because of the above **** up
the front was poor soggy ..in to a steep dip off road ..it had a job to lift the suspension at all ..a couple of times its packed down and i could see from looking through the gaiters were compressed and not able to lift the weight as it should .... eccesive dive under braking and some pretty nasty kick back here and there on double bumps in the road ..
just experimenting at the moment ..i was wondering if 15 oil would slow the compression down too much off road ..i guess the answer will be in the springs each of us has fitted
im thinking the bigger the hit the stronger the resitance from the progresives so the stronger the bounceback ..

i dont ride that hard off road but i do ride some pretty rough trails if thats makes sense ..so i want the suspension to still retain a eliment of softness but with more resistance ....im concerned at getting to much bouce back ..with front or indeed rear rebound adjustment to keep it in check
rightly or wrongly in me own minds eye im thinking the liniers may prove better at preventing this ..plus a little trust in the ohlins brand to get it right ..

anyway im waffling now all i can do is get the bits on and go try it out im optamistic
