Stupidly I had the combination for the padlock, but was too lazy to use it, then got stuck on the gate!
Chalk cross on the hillside. This is a "restricted" section of the North Downs Way (I have a permit) and a lot of effort has been made to grade the track - sort of spoils it for off-roaders!
Continuing on the North Downs Way.
Found this lane on my way home, great views over Kent, but it did get a bit narrow at the end!
