But they changed the reg/rec, loom connectors and the battery?

If they changed all of those components for new (baring in mind it is very unlikely it was all three that were wrong in the first place which suggests they didn't isolate the cause properly), then I cannot see why you would still be having problems - unless they didn't reassemble it properly?

Like I say, if you're not getting enough charge to the battery and those components have been checked/changed, then it could well be a stator issue... alternatively, it could also be an earthing issue - either somewhere between the stator-reg/rec/battery, or indeed another earth issue that is draining the battery?

Well, it's not all that common a problem to be fair... yes a few people on here have suffered/complained about it, but when you consider how many Teneres have been sold now, its by no means a 'common' problem... even if the Capt' would love every owner of an XT660 to be a member of this forum I'm sure xx

Good luck with getting it sorted - if your dealer is drawing a blank, then an independent vehicle (motorcycle) electrical specialist ought to be able to pin-point the problem...
