You can fit them in the same way as the hyperpro springs, I didn't replace the spacer. Forks feel firmer on the bumps, but seem to have more travel than the stock springs. I know this sounds like a contradiction, but its true. Probably the best way to put it is that I used to notice the original forks were taking a long time to recover to normal after a large compression (over a bump). with the new ones, I don't notice this at all. In fact they do such a great job that the front end has become unremarkable. Simply a suspension I can count on.
