In the end i went for the Kappa 21 system. Liked the idea of soft luggage but to really make it work well you still needed frames so it lost its financial appeal. The Kappa 21 system is perfect! The paniers are small but they are what i wanted and will do the job for me. They stick out a tiny bit past the bars but im talking 10-20mm each side so it still makes filtering easy. The paniers are quite thin plastic but for the price they are very good quality. The frames i was really surprised at, very very good quality and strong hard finish. They look far more expensive than the �120 price tag and were fitted in about 45mins. Easy to do but a little tricky as my bike lives in my hall way so not much space. The bike is pretty much ready now except for a new set of Distanzias which ive yet to buy. Here are some pictures:





Took it for a shake down ride today and didnt even notice the paniers. WIll being doing a trip to North Wales and West Wales to try it out loaded and then the big one in August.
