That's not a bad price - in fact it's a very good price for a brand new bike when the 2010 bike, which isn't significantly different, is well over a grand more. You should get them to change the oil breather catch tank under warranty, because that changed on the 2009 bikes. You might want to either get them to check, or check yourself that the plug connecting the reg/rec is connected properly. Search on here for either of those items to find out the background if you want. Either way you'll still have 2 years warranty from when it's registered.
You might be able to do better with a low-mileage s/h bike if the extras are important to you. I bought a 2,800 mile bike with full luggage, bashplate, engine bars, Akra system, and a few other bits for �5k a year ago (which now has 17,500 miles on it and is probably worth about 50p
), but that was a very good deal, and with the new price going up I don't know how used prices have changed in the mean time.
