Buffeting is significantly better than it was on my 660z. That used to fair rag my head around when pushing on. I still get a bit of it but it isnt as tiring as the 660 was. For info I'm on the stock 1200 screen/postion and had a stock screen on the 660 both with me using a shoei hornet. That was the worst bit for me on the 660 as it started to get tiring when making progress on faster roads and required a lot of throttle too which may have contributed to the range I used to get on the 660 (seemed to be lowest of those posting on another thread). With the 1200 its far more in its comfort zone so has more reserves left to crack on when needed.
That said some (on advrider) have got issues with 1200 buffeting but sometimes I think peops want car like serenity on thier bikes (goldwing owners ?) as long as it doesnt annoy me i'm usually happy.
