Did the first service at 600 miles - aye got a lot more out than I expected too. But followed the hand book - put 2 litres in and turned the engine over a few times and then topped up to the dip stick . Checked level again after a quick ride and it was fine.

PS - When draining the tank I put some garden hose onto the bottom of a funnel - the hose running into the tray I had used to catch the oil from the sump drain - worked fine and caught all the oil without anything hitting the front tyre.
