Dyno Runs

OK, so most of us want to get our bike on the DYNO, get the mix just right.
But after seeing a few dyno runs of different bikes, I can't help but wonder how bad for your bike it is. ?
Is it that if your bike is not too old but nicely run in and you have good coolant and oil, clean enough filters, a drivechain that isn't rusted to bits and you warmed it up nicely on the way to the dyno center then there shouldn't be anything to worry about?
Those 80% and 100% throttle runs do make the bike work
I've never hit the rev limiter when riding, am I doing something wrong?
